TIPS AND THAT

Normally, God has blessed me with long nails but 2 weeks working with a friend doing wax hands kind of Kaboshed the whole nail thing while they heal and recover.   Jamberry makes beautiful french wraps but I wanted my nails on the long side so this is white tips with the clear Jamberry Wrap over them.  I guarantee, unless I hit one funky, that these will also last the full two weeks.  No doubt in my mind.  I'll get back to you.  So many options since Jamberry mixes with acrylics, gels and tips!

TRIED SOMETHING NEW...DOESN'T WORK

So...these were really cool.  Nice compliment to my black and white abstract dress that I wore to the Rochester Women's Magazine Health Expo.  I started with white polish and added the black french Jamberry over the top.  Here is the thing, the nail polish started to peel at the end of the second day taking my Jamberry Nail Wraps with it!  Now, I was able to save them by gluing them back on BUT I should have been smarter. Jamberry lasts longer than polish with no chipping BUT put them over nail polish and you end up with the same issue.  It was a good attempt though.

Someone has already done the challenge for you but take your own challenge.  Email me:  Goddessnails.mla@gmail.com  I'll send you a sample.  Paint your nails and put the sample on as an accent nail and see which one lasts longer and doesn't chip...My bet is on Jamberry Nail Wraps and here is the thing, even if it were to lift a little, it takes less than 5 seconds to place a drop of nail glue on your finger and head out the door.  It takes a lot more time to redo one nail and let it dry or worse yet all 5 or 10.  350 designs and no chipping!  Perfection at your fingertips.

NAIL CARE-REMOVAL OF JAMBERRY NAILS.

Nice Nails start with the natural nail and natural nail care is simple and doesn't require a lot of time.

1. Moisturize your cuticles to prevent hang nails.  Massage it in every night.  This also stimulates growth
2. Wear gloves when gardening, washing dishes or using cleaners.  Your hair and your nails are made out of the same stuff.  If you wouldn't wash your hair with it, don't stick your hands in it without protection.
3. File your nails with a fine grit emory board.  Course emory boards are made for artificial nails.
4. File in one direction.  Sawing back and forth will create small tears in the nail
5. Remove your jamberrys by gentle heating them.  Pull up a tiny bit of the corner and then take a few minutes to soak your fingertips in olive oil for about 3-5 minutes.  Wipe excess off and gentle pull your jamberrys off your nail.  This should be easy.  If it is not easy either soak for a few more minutes or apply a little heat to release the glue.
6. Rub the oil into your nails and cuticles.
7. Proceed with the above filing etc.  Gently buff the nail with a fine block buffer and be sure if you are putting more Jamberry Wraps on to use alcohol or acetone on a q-tip or cotton square to remove any oil from your nail beds before applying.

I ordered these wraps on a whim.  To be honest, I wasn't sure I was going to like them but thought someone else might.  When I got them, I kept looking at them.  I finally put them on and to date, they are my favorite.  The graduation of the polka dots against the white with my skintone.  Perfect for summer.  Wore them to a wedding with a black dress.  It was perfect.
